SHEROS—“She Has Every Right On Success”—began in 2016 with a mission to encourage, mentor, and empower girls and young women. As the vision grew, HHEROS—“He Has Every Right On Success”—was added to intentionally include boys and young men. Today, SHEROS-HHEROS creates opportunities for youth, young adults, returning citizens, and families to discover their strengths, receive support, and move forward.
Our mission is to empower youth and young adults ages 14–24, returning citizens, and families through mentorship, social-emotional learning, life skills, leadership development, legal literacy, career readiness, reentry support, and meaningful community connections.
We meet people where they are. Through school-based, community-based, and summer programs, SHEROS-HHEROS works with volunteers, educators, professionals, and community partners to provide workshops, symposiums, speaking engagements, hands-on learning, resource connections, and individualized support.
